Chaplet of the Precious Blood
This devotion consists of seven mysteries in which we meditate on the seven principal sheddings of the Most precious Blood of Jesus
The Our Father without the Hail Mary is said five times after each mystery except the last, when it is said three times in all, thirty three times in honor of the thirty-three years of Our Lord"s life on earth.

FIRST MYSTERY
Beads (b) Jesus shed his blood in the circumcision Let us ask for chastity in body and soul.
Beads (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, [7 = a3, a2, a1]) Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. Forgive us our sins as we forgive those who sin against us. Save us from the time of trial and deliver us from evil. For the kingdom, the power, and the glory are yours now and for ever. Amen.
Beads (c, d, e, f, g, b, a) Glory be to the Father, and to the Son: and to the Holy Ghost; As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

This invocation to the Precious Blood is said after the Our Father and Glory be of each mystery.

Jesus shed his blood in the agony while praying in the Garden of Olives. Let us ask for the spirit of prayer.Beads (d)Third Mystery:
Jesus shed his blood in the scourging at the pillar. Let us ask for patience and self-control.Beads (e) Fourth Mystery:
Jesus shed his blood in the crowning with thorns. Let us ask for humility to atone from pride.Beads (f) Fifth Mystery:
Jesus shed his blood while carrying His cross to Calvary. Let us ask for acceptance of our daily crosses.Beads (g) Sixth Mystery:
Jesus shed his blood in the terrible crucifixion. Let us ask for contrition.Beads (b) Seventh Mystery:
Jesus shed blood and water from His side pierced by the lance. Let us ask for perseverance.
OUR LORD MADE THESE PROMISES:
To all those faithful who shall recite for 3 years, each day, 2 Paters (Our Father's), 2 Aves (Hail Mary's), and 2 Glorias (Glory Be's) in honor of the drops of Blood I lost (during the Passion), I will concede the following 5 graces:
1) The plenary indulgence, and remittance of your sins.
2) You will be free from the pains of Purgatory.
3) If you should die before completing the said 3 years, for you it will be the same as if you had said them.
4) It will be upon your death the same as if you had shed all your blood for the Holy Faith.
5) I will descend from Heaven to take your soul, and those of your relatives until the fourth generation.
To Those Who Devotedly Pray the Chaplet of the Precious Blood
I promise to protect any person who devoutly prays this Chaplet against evil attacks.
I will guard his five senses.
I will protect him from sudden death.
Twelve hours before his death, he will drink
My Precious Blood and eat My Body.
Twenty-four hours before his death, I will show him My five wounds that he may feel a deep contrition for all his sins and have a perfect knowledge of them.
Any person who makes a novena with it will get their intentions. His prayer will be answered.
I will perform many wonderful miracles through it.
Through it, I will destroy many secret societies and set free many souls in bondage, by My mercy.
Through it, I will save many souls from Purgatory.
I will teach him My way, he who honors My Precious Blood through this Chaplet.
I will have mercy on them who have mercy on My Precious Wounds and Blood.
Whoever teaches this prayer to another person will have an indulgence of four years.
